                   Introduction to Photography

When we heard about photography, the first thing always strike in mind that what is Photography?

So first I will answer you

What is Photography? 

                    Photography is the art of taking photos with the help of a camera device in such a way that the photographer wants to gives you information about the view/site he had clicked.

This means Photography is a medium through which the photographer wants to tell you about something without saying anything but from his clicked photos.

If we talk technically about Photography so it is an art of capturing photos with the help of a camera and different lenses mount on a camera device. Photography can be done from any device like mobile phones, SLR, mirrorless cameras, or any go pro camera.

Photography is the result of combining several technical discoveries, relating to seeing an image and capturing the image.

"According to me Photography is a universal language which can be understood by anyone from different countries. The best thing about the photos is that it never changes according to time."

Anyone with a camera can be a photographer is the best thing I like most.

History of Photography and the people behind this.

Black and white

Originally, all pictures turned into monochrome, or black and white. Even after color film was quite simply available, black-and-white images endured to used for decades, because of its cheap cost, chemical stability, and its classic photographic look. Color

The color photography was first researched in early 1840.

The first permanent color photograph was captured in 1861 using the 3-color-partition principle newly published by Scottish physicist James Maxwell in 1855.  The establishment of virtually all practical color processes, Maxwell's thought was to get three separate black-and-white photographs through red, green and blue separate filters. This offers the photographer with the three basic channels required to recover a color image. There is a myth that for photography you need to buy professional camera devices like DSLR, SLR, Mirrorless cameras.

But today I would like to tell you that anyone can do photography with the help of smartphone devices. There are a lot of mobile phones these days which have too much better cameras, because the main focus of many smartphone companies these days is to provide you a better camera.

So if you have a passion for photography so you can start doing photography with the help of your smartphones. The photography done by the help of mobile phone devices is called mobile photography.

You will be surprised,  in some smartphones there are a lot of features that are provided by smartphone companies as similar to high-end camera devices.

For professional photography, you can buy DSLR, Mirrorless cameras of various companies like Nikon, Sony, Canon.

Smartphones are better than dedicated cameras for most people’s needs. They are quicker and easier to use. It only makes sense to get a dedicated camera if your phone isn’t good enough for the photos you want (like photographing sports or low-light environments) or if you’re specifically interested in photography as a hobby.

There are different type of photography, some of them are

• Portrait Photography

Portrait photography is the art of capturing photos by making the subject in focus by hiding(blurring) other things in the photo.

Product photography is a branch of commercial photography that represent various products of companies for e-commerce sites such as Flipkart, Amazon as well as for offline markets such as in malls and shops to display brochure for various products.

The main application of product photography is in product catalogs and brochures, with a proportion of product images also being used in advertising and marketing.

• Use proper lighting system.

Fine art photography is the art of photography in which the photographer assumes himself as an artist and shows creative expression with the help of photos.

The main goal of fine-art photography is to express an idea, a message, or an emotion.

The main thing about  Sports Photography is that, everyone can't do this type of photography as it requires a lot of patience. 

Every time you have to stand on your toe and move your camera here and there for capturing great shots.

• Don't use the full automatic mode. 
• Use Aperture Priority mode.

• Travel photography.

Travel photography is a type of photography that may consist of documentation of areas landscape, cultures, peoples, monuments, cities, and towns.

Some of the tips for getting good Travel photography are:

• Research places where you want to go.
• Spot places in google maps
• Get up early to take some sunrise shots
• Have patience.
• Use different angles.
• Use the rule of third.
• Explore the place a little.
• Always have a backup(Extra batteries, extra memory cards).

•  Event Photography. 

It is the type of photography in which photographers take pictures of guests, employees in corporate events such as parties, receptions, and sales events.

Event photographers capture special moments at weddings, anniversaries, parties, offices, and various shows.

They are hired specially for event photography. They take pictures and deliver it later after completing edits and all.

Some of the tips for getting good Event photography are:

• Get closer shots.
• Capture behind the scenes 
• Find characters and interactions.
